Dr. Young is originally from Portland, Oregon and is a second-generation doctor inspired early to pursue a career in healthcare. Influenced by his father, a radiologist, he explored several professional paths before discovering chiropractic at a high school conference. The philosophy and scope of chiropractic resonated deeply, leading him to commit fully to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. During his doctoral training, Dr. Young chose to sub-specialize in the Blair Upper Cervical Technique, focusing on precise correction of the upper cervical spine. This decision became deeply personal after witnessing the profound impact Blair care had on his wife, who experienced significant relief from debilitating anxiety, panic attacks, and sensory sensitivities. Seeing her regain her quality of life solidified his dedication to upper cervical chiropractic and its potential for life-changing outcomes.
Dr. Young is a member of Delta Sigma Chi Professional Chiropractic Fraternity, the profession’s oldest fraternity, and served multiple terms on the chapter executive board. He completed his internship at the largest pediatric and prenatal chiropractic practice in Sonoma County, California. Dr. Young maintains membership in the Council on Upper Cervical Care of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and the California Chiropractors Association. He completed his Legion of Chiropractic Philosophers (LCP) diplomate in 2022 and his Diplomate in Chiropractic Philosophical Standards (DPhCS) in 2025. Dr. Young is proud to return to the Bay Area, which has become a second home following his chiropractic training there.
